  Good onion rings

  I give this restaurant ZERO stars. I have worked at this A&W for the last 7+ months and I am sickened with how things are run and handled , Favoritism and separate rules , I've informed the boss about people stealing food, ignoring their duties , things being done improperly and nothing was ever done and no words were said , just "okay thanks" and brushed off You eat at A&W you expect , clean, fresh, hot food. you ARE paying for the 2nd most expensive fast food chain. so you should get what you pay for... right? ...you don't. I have seen employees come in drunk, stoned, then they make and serve your food The boss is and was aware of this but nothing was done because the person was a 'friend' and the one who opened or closed up shop, The cleaning is skimmed , corners are cut, the temperature sheet for the food and fridges is FORGED because staff are to lazy to check everything, it doesn't help that the actual thermometer to check the temperatures is broken , so all the food temps are written down guesstimated to be fit according to the numbers on the chart , Ive seen uncooked meat served, I've received it myself , the fridges and freezers have been 'cleaned' with the FLOOR mop, the grill gets cleaned once at the end of the night but they don't clean the spilled grease and cooked food to the side of the grill, the food timers are ignored, (for example = that pre cooked spicy burger is only good for so long, the timer ( if they even pressed it ) goes off and they don't want to replace it with a new one, the button is re-hit and that's the burger you'll get served old, cold, and semi dried up from the steam evaporator box its kept in , dishes are not properly washed, they get rinsed and reused, the bathrooms are not properly cleaned, there's a leak in the men's washroom I've mentioned more than twice that gets ignored , how about the dirty wash cloths, used for the counters, the tables, and your food tray. there are ants infesting the back area and crawling in and out the pop boxes, the nozzles are never cleaned , if the pop is out, they just change the bag and go back to work, there's black mold in the pop machine itself because people don't take off the spouts and clean them , behind that stainless silver cover , is mold , syrup and cobwebs. people have brought back onion rings with Ants, fruit flies, and hair , cooked right into them, burgers with hair , because people don't put their hair up or wear a hair net unless asked, which isn't always . the fridge and freezers get left open and food starts to thaw, they just close it put it back in and refreeze , every day...all day, people are unhygienic SMOKING and vaping in the kitchen blowing it out/into the vent , customers with special requests are treated as if they are annoying or a hassle to attend to, if you question anything its just brushed off and ignored , because I've brought these things to the attention of the boss even though It gets ignored, other staff members don't like that and make the job harder than it has to be, I have been yelled at to do other peoples tasks and rules change , the boss says something should be done a certain way and I say that "this is how I was told to do it" and I get scolded " the boss isn't here, shut up and do your job" The turnover of staff is crazy, and they will use you as far as you'll let them, I've worked 90+hours in two weeks and get treated like I do nothing, I have high sales and good customer relations . If the staff doesn't want you there they gang up and or complain about everything , little things and they make up things just to cause grief . some people come in and order just something specific , like one order of rings or one order of fries, they are served the old cold ones that have been sitting there made extra waiting to be sold, all saturated and crumbling, you get a half order if they don't make enough because everything is on a timer, they don't always care to do their job, those soggy rings and fries you got have been sitting for 15-20+minutes sometimes , There's more but I've reached character limit.
